Lemaire's artistic black coat is inspired by the poet Charles Baudelaire's idea of the flâneur, a person who wanders the city with no agenda in mind. It's crafted from canvas which is illustrated by an abstract marbled pattern and shaped with raglan sleeves and an elegant high neckline.

The Lemaire wardrobe is designed to be modular, with supple silhouettes and a soft colour palette allowing outfits to be restyled and accented over time. Collections are produced in Europe, Turkey and Morocco. Bags and leather goods are made in Spain and Italy, where a collaborative effort with artisans has brought novel approaches to age-old techniques.
