Captured in Lemaire’s SS20 lookbook, this navy double-breasted jacket is inspired by the effortless style of Rüdiger Vogler in Wim Wenders road-trip film Alice in the Cities (1974). It’s cut to a relaxed, boxy shape with shawl lapels and low side flap pockets, then lined with navy satin and finished with an internal welt pocket.
The Lemaire wardrobe is designed to be modular, with supple silhouettes and a soft colour palette allowing outfits to be restyled and accented over time. Collections are produced in Europe, Turkey and Morocco. Bags and leather goods are made in Spain and Italy, where a collaborative effort with artisans has brought novel approaches to age-old techniques.
