Marques' Almeida's tie-detailed top has such a cool, deconstructed look. It's cut from rigid denim blended with recycled and organic fibers and has frayed trims - a brand signature. Style with tonal jeans, as the label would.
Founded by designers Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida in 2011, Marques'Almeida subscribes to the Helmut Lang school of thought, where fashion is about attitude, not hemlines. With a focus on cut, colour and texture, their unique collections combine innovation, art and luxury.
'Made with 17% organic, 40% recycled cotton and 43% REFIBRA™. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilisers, uses less water and emits up to 46% less greenhouse gas than non-organic. Recycled cotton reduces waste, uses fewer natural resources and has a lower environmental impact. Refibra™ technology involves upcycling cotton scraps from garment production and transforming them into cotton pulp. This is added to wood pulp and the combined material transformed to produce TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres.'
