Layer up responsibly with Patagonia’s P-6 Uprisal hoody; almost entirely recycled, each one is made using 14.9 plastic bottles and 0.8 pounds of cotton scrap, saving 183 gallons of water versus a conventional classic sweatshirt. Fair Trade CertifiedTM sewn, it still boasts a brushed back for a classic heavyweight feel. It also has an embroidered fish at the chest, designed by artist Geoff McFetridge. Really, it’s a no-brainer.
Patagonia started small, making tools for climbers. Now, it makes clothes for outdoor adventures from trail-running to skiing and uses its voice to campaign for the protection of nature. Patagonia itself has taken impressive steps to reduce its environmental impact and set a goal for complete carbon neutrality by 2025.
