Unexpected construction is key to Proenza Schouler’s contemporary design DNA and this white shirt demonstrates designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough’s innovative mindset. It’s crafted from panelled cotton poplin with a gathered high-neck that ties at the back, blouson raglan sleeves, then nipped in across the back with long ties before fluting to a side-slit peplum hem. Tuck it into a graphic-print skirt to continue the modern tone.
Proenza Schouler was founded in New York by designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. Their work is inspired by contemporary art and youth culture and is combined with an emphasis on tailoring and the use of custom developed fabrics.
