The Calamansi top from American label Reformation ticks three, important boxes. Firstly, it's made of linen, which is ideal for warmer weather. Secondly, there’s an adjustable tie back, so you can find the perfect fit. And thirdly, it’s embellished with ruffles, and who doesn't love those? The only other thing we could ask for is that it's sustainably made – which it is, as it uses responsible water-saving manufacturing processes.
Long before it became fashionable, Reformation made sustainability cool, with limited collections of dresses, ethically-made in LA with ‘deadstock’ material. They’re still leading change, promising to be climate positive by 2025.
As the sustainable fashion movement gathers pace, we’re shining a light on the individual pieces with eco credentials, whether that’s lower-impact natural fabrics like linen, lyocell and organic cotton, recycled fibres, or more planet-friendly manufacturing techniques. If it’s greener, it’s here.
