The likes of Kendall Jenner and Kaia Gerber have been spotted wearing Reformation's vintage-inspired dresses. Taking cues from the '90s, this deadstock 'Emira' style is made from plush gold velvet that's blended with a touch of silk, so it's soft and slightly lustrous. Cinching you in at the waist, it has a universally flattering square neckline and thick straps. The skirt is slit at the front.
Long before it became fashionable, Reformation made sustainability cool, with limited collections of dresses, ethically-made in LA with ‘deadstock’ material. They’re still leading change, promising to be climate positive by 2025.
'Made with upcycled material. Upcycling reworks existing textiles to make a completely new item of clothing. Textiles can be in the form of new but unused fabric offcuts or pre-worn clothing. Upcycling reduces waste and maximises the resources used in the creation of the original textiles.'
