You may not think to turn to an L.A.-based brand when it comes to warming winter wear (that’s surely more the British Isle’s territory, right?), but the York coat is proving that Reformation is pretty adept in that area, too. Cut to a longline silhouette and swathed in checks, it’s imbued with a hint of tactile wool – the label uses the fuzzy fabric for its sustainable properties (it’s a renewable fibre with far less environmental impact, y’know).
Long before it became fashionable, Reformation made sustainability cool, with limited collections of dresses, ethically-made in LA with ‘deadstock’ material. They’re still leading change, promising to be climate positive by 2025.
