Party-loving pair Jeanette Madsen and Thora Valdimars have never been quiet about their love of the 80s, and their latest effort for ROTATE Birger Christensen has flashes of throwback referenced throughout. Cut entirely from planet-conscious recycled polyester, the Leiza dress looks like it’s been plucked from yesteryears as it showcases an extravagantly voluminous hemline (which looks like a plethora of bows) reminiscent of the infamous retro decade.
Rotate blends the coolness of Copenhagen with feminine, vintage-inspired designs. Collections incorporate references from 80s evening wear to 90s streetwear, to create statement mini and midi dresses and everyday separates, characterised by bold prints and playful silhouettes.
