Saint Laurent's black sunglasses are discreetly hallmarked at each temple with an embossed YSL logo, which was first designed for the label in 1960 by the celebrated graphic artist Adolphe Jean-Marie Mouron, also known as Cassandre. They're made in Italy from glossy acetate to a 1950s-inspired cat-eye silhouette accented by silver-tone metal hardware.
One of the most resounding names in fashion, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury ready to wear. Today, the iconic label is fronted by Anthony Vaccarello, who aims to explore Saint Laurent’s early years through his creations.
'A pair of cat eye sunglasses add instant glamour to your look, and while Celine and Saint Laurent have some of the best shapes this season, affordable brands like Jimmy Fairly and Sunday Somewhere also have some seriously stylish options.' 16 June 2021.
