Opening a portal to the sportswear styles of the 1980s, Saint Laurent debuts the SL24 trainers. Stitched together from smooth leather and sculpted to a high-top silhouette, they’re detailed with the house’s moniker in metallic lettering at the side. These retro kicks are then complete with a chunky rubber outsole that ensures grip. They may have been acceptable in the 80s, and we think they’re also equally a spectacle for 2022.
Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury ready-to-wear. Today, the iconic label is fronted by Anthony Vaccarello, who aims to explore Saint Laurent’s early years through his creations.
