Saint Laurent's Cassandra bag is an exquisite celebration of the Maison's foundational aesthetic: fiercely elegant yet inherently coquettish. This exuberant accessory shares its name with the artist Adolphe Mouron Cassandre, who in 1961 created the iconic ysl logo by artfully combining the initials of the label's founder - the very same emblem that punctuates the front flap of this love-forever bag.
Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury ready-to-wear. Today, the iconic label is fronted by Anthony Vaccarello, who aims to explore Saint Laurent’s early years through his creations.
