Saint Laurent wasn’t always named so; before 2015 when Hedi Slimane dropped the Yves as part of his overhaul of the French label, it was Yves Saint Laurent, something this pouch bag pays tribute to. Rendered in leather, its accordion silhouette is fitted with a YSL monogram plaque, creating a style that’s equal parts stylish and practical; it’s kitted out with a main compartment and three internal pockets for receipts and notes.
Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury ready-to-wear. Today, the iconic label is fronted by Anthony Vaccarello, who aims to explore Saint Laurent’s early years through his creations.
