The duo behind Saint Laurent’s iconic logo? Founder Yves Saint Laurent and graphic designer Adolphe Mouron Cassandre. Designed in 1961 for the iconic French fashion house, it showcases the designer’s initials intertwined and interlinked. This geometrical emblem has become a signature of the brand and can be spotted everywhere, from the label’s RTW line-up to its accessories. Part of the latter, this gleaming YSL ring features the motif front and centre.
One of the most resounding names in fashion, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury ready to wear. Today, the iconic label is fronted by Anthony Vaccarello, who aims to explore Saint Laurent’s early years through his creations.
