In SS22, London-born label Self-Portrait debuted its first-ever bag: The Bow. Dubbing its campaign ‘The Bow is Mine’, as a nod to the hit by Brandy, the collection looked to 90s nostalgia for its inspiration – something that's continued into the brand's AW22 collection as well. And why wouldn't it? Creative Director Han Chong’s dreamt up a timeless silhouette and crowned it with one of the House’s signature motifs (the bow, of course): and the revival of 90s fashion isn’t going anywhere yet.
Self-Portrait is all about creating feminine clothes, embellished with lace, leather and details that reveal their street style influences. Their collection of cool modern classics spans tailoring to accessories, but it's the dresses that steal the show.
