Stella McCartney has always looked out for the currents of counterculture; now, the British designer brings them in-house, with the new Stella Shared 3 capsule spotlighting a trio of up-and-coming creators. Whirlwind artist Ed Curtis is responsible for the graphics on this punk-inflected jumper. Knitted from pure wool (traceable, naturally), it flashes a patchwork of patterns reflecting his colourful, chaotic creative process.
Stella is a girl’s girl, visible in designs that embrace femininity from a variety of different and subtle angles. The always-cool and famously-vegetarian brand uses biodegradable fabrics and no fur or leather, setting design and animal welfare on an equal footing, with unshakeable standards for both.
'Stella McCartney uses of a variety of materials with lower environmental impact, including re-engineered cashmere, certified higher-welfare wool, organic cotton, recycled nylon and polyester and sustainably sourced viscose, and vegetarian alternatives to leather, fur, silk and feathers.'
