Stella McCartney's latest collaborator, multidisciplinary artist Ed Curtis, has made a name for himself producing wearable works of art from his London studio, inspired by New York's effervescent Club Kids. This colorful sweater is made from soft, space-dyed yarns and centered with a fuzzy depiction of the artist's signature 'Myfanwy Starface' motif. The slouchy shape is perfect for layering.
Stella is a girl’s girl, visible in designs that embrace femininity from a variety of different and subtle angles. The always-cool and famously-vegetarian brand uses biodegradable fabrics and no fur or leather, setting design and animal welfare on an equal footing, with unshakeable standards for both.
'Stella McCartney uses of a variety of materials with lower environmental impact, including re-engineered cashmere, certified higher-welfare wool, organic cotton, recycled nylon and polyester and sustainably sourced viscose, and vegetarian alternatives to leather, fur, silk and feathers.'
