Although we’ve seen lots of new sculptural bags grace Stella McCartney’s cruelty-free AW21 collection, the British designer proves that nothing beats an original. Enter the Falabella: a house signature, that first launched in 2010. Reimagined for the new season, the classic silhouette is still disrupted by a whipstitch trim and chain, but this time it’s fitted with sporty drawstring sides and a wide branded shoulder strap.
Stella is a girl’s girl, visible in designs that embrace femininity from a variety of different and subtle angles. The always-cool and famously-vegetarian brand uses biodegradable fabrics and no fur or leather, setting design and animal welfare on an equal footing, with unshakeable standards for both.
'Stella McCartney uses of a variety of materials with lower environmental impact, including re-engineered cashmere, certified higher-welfare wool, organic cotton, recycled nylon and polyester and sustainably sourced viscose, and vegetarian alternatives to leather, fur, silk and feathers.'
