Stella McCartney's SS23 runway was brimming with gleaming embellishments subtly inspired by the decade that was Y2K. And one of the styles that caught our eye was this woven jacket. Shaped to a seemingly simple single-breasted silhouette complete with a V-neckline and padded shoulders, the structured style is punctuated by the polished silver-toned hardware that forms a harness-esque fastening at the front.
Stella is a girl’s girl, visible in designs that embrace femininity from a variety of different and subtle angles. One of the first conspicuously fur- and leather-free brands, Stella McCartney sets design and animal welfare on an equal footing, with unshakeable standards for both.
'Stella McCartney uses of a variety of materials with lower environmental impact, including re-engineered cashmere, certified higher-welfare wool, organic cotton, recycled nylon and polyester and sustainably sourced viscose, and vegetarian alternatives to leather, fur, silk and feathers.'
