On a mission to rethink fine jewellery while using sustainably sourced materials, Amanda He dreamt up her label Poppy Finch in 2014. Handcrafted by local artisans in the brand’s home of Vancouver and showcased by The Alkemistry, this gleaming ring demonstrates her conscious ethos. Sculpted from recycled 14-carat yellow gold, it’s centred with an oval-shaped 0.75ct pink morganite stone which is encircled with six ethically sourced white diamonds totalling 0.12ct.
With a flagship store in London’s Covent Garden, The Alkemistry creates modern, memorable jewellery for women and children. From 'love letter' initial bracelets to earrings, necklaces and rings, in yellow gold, white gold and rose gold, pearls and precious gemstones, it champions female designers. Alongside pieces by Dana Rebecca and Meher, its own-label collection is hand-made by female apprentices with 18ct recycled gold and ethically sourced diamonds.
'Made with recycled 14ct yellow-gold. Recycled material reduces waste, uses fewer natural resources and has a lower environmental impact than virgin material.'
