Tibi's shorts are cut from supple black leather that's sourced from Leather Working Group-medaled tanneries and produced using the BeTan® process, which implements ethical practices like water conservation and chrome-free, non-toxic tanning. Having founded Tibi in Hong Kong in 1997, designer Amy Smilovic returned to her New York roots in 2000 and set up her studio in a SoHo loft. The label’s eye-catching prints and unexpected colour combinations epitomise Manhattan cool.
