Founders of Scandinavian label Totême, husband and wife duo Elin Kling and Karl Lindman's design orbit revolves around reimagining the modern uniform. But you can forget visions of a crisp school shirt and pleated skirt, we mean powerfully simple silhouettes and clean lines that speak in hushed tones, much like the Fluid top. Spun from a soft, woven blend, this style falls languidly over your frame, from the round neck down to the split hem.
Stockholm-based Totême is a style universe with a singular aesthetic. Inspired by women’s lives and needs, the ambition is to define a dress code and wardrobe that backs their purpose. The look is precise and considered, defined by distinct silhouettes, perfected cuts and elevated fabrics.
'Made with at least 50% linen and lyocell. Linen is made from the fibres of the flax plant. Flax is resilient and can grow in poor soil, using less water than cotton to produce. Lyocell is made from plant cellulose. While chemicals are used in its production, it is a closed-loop process, meaning that chemicals can be extracted and waste water reused.'
