Valentino’s indigo-blue jeans are part of a collaboration with Levi’s, upcycled from vintage denim resulting in a re-edition of the 517 bootcut style launched in 1969. They’re cut with a flattering mid-rise waist hallmarked with a signature logo tab at the back and have slight variations in each pair which make them entirely one of a kind. Tuck in a shirt to emulate a retro mood.
Founded in 1960 and now headed by legendary creative director, Alessandro Michele, luxury Italian fashion house Valentino is synonymous with glamour, from richly embellished red carpet dresses to iconic bags and shoes.
'Made with at least 50% upcycled material. Upcycling reworks existing textiles to make a completely new item of clothing. Textiles can be in the form of new but unused fabric offcuts or pre-worn clothing. Upcycling reduces waste and maximises the resources used in the creation of the original textiles.'
