Harris Tweed seasonal project. This diagonal-effect woven twill fabric is named after the River Tweed which flows between Scotland and England. It grew in popularity thanks to the Countess of Dunmore who created a label adorned with her family crest. This label attested to the fact that the fabric was made from 100% virgin wool carded spun and hand-dyed with natural fabrics. Max Mara Weekend has taken all this into consideration with the small-sized Pasticcino bag which features a zip and spheres that match the colour of the bags body. The signature Harris Tweed label can be found on the side.
Weekend Max Mara is a more casual version of its higher-end counter part. Catering to women who love to travel without sacrificing style. Housed in Italy it has been featured in Vogue UK, Harper's Bazaar and Look Magazine.
