After studying jewellery design at Goldsmiths, Co-Founder and Creative Director Zara Juricic embarked on the first of many buying trips to Nepal, where she fell in love with the beautiful, hand-woven textiles of Kathmandu Valley. Inspired to create her own range of luxurious cashmere knitwear, she launched Crumpet in 2006 with her husband Dana, combining super-soft cashmere with fashion-forward prints, contemporary colours and flattering, timeless shapes. Favouring quality over price, Crumpet chooses small, family-run factories in Nepal to produce its cashmere. This artisanal, labour-intensive approach gives the freedom to combine complex colours, patterns and finishes, creating unique and exquisitely crafted pieces.
