A silk-lined edition of the Pembury trench coat, created in collaboration with the celebrated British artist Sir Quentin Blake. The fit-and-flare style is crafted from shower-resistant tropical gabardine - the lightest of our signature fabrics, developed for warmer climates. Tailored to a slim fit through the body with soft shoulders, the panelled design features an A-line skirt, exaggerated storm shield, and belt with graphite-finish hardware for a statement silhouette. The silk lining is printed with a black pen and ink illustration created by Sir Quentin Blake in 1971 for the cover of 'The Birds' by the ancient Greek playwright Aristophanes.
The Burberry name is inseparable from the gabardine trench coat - a design so enduring that it's still, simply, the best of its kind. Today, its considered approach to British heritage means outerwear for women and men is just part of a collection that spans red carpet dresses to the iconic Burberry check scarf and luxury bags.
