His designs are among the top selling brands at Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Fine specialty shops such Bergdorf Goodman. The world of Carmen Marc Valvo includes designer eveningwear, swimwear, eyewear, a lingerie line, and a newly launched home collection for QVC. Carmen has always utilized his designs to help with many causes over the year. As an Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) Ambassador, he has given both his time and money to the organization, which has helped raise millions of dollars for Colon Cancer Research. One of Carmen's favorite organizations to which he has shown generosity, is the NCCRA (National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance). As a colon cancer survivor himself, Carmen Marc Valvo has been working with Katie Couric, since she partnered with 7th on Sixth in 2004, to bring attention and support of research of this deadly disease. His efforts, on behalf of the organization, were honored at a gala in March 2006 in New York where Carmen received the first ever Advocate Award from Katie Couric. Carmen and his friend Vanessa Williams recently appeared in a national print and broadcast campaign to bring awareness to the importance of early screening.
