Corianna and Brianna, also known as Coco and Breezy, are the founders of a cutting edge sunglass brand based in New York City that aims to reach new fashion heights and introduce fashion connoisseurs all over the world to their unique sense of style and original accessories. Coco and Breezy designed the brand based on their own passion for making avante garde fashion and accessories available to all retail consumers. To us “Your eyewear is always your outfit and your clothing outfit is always your accessory”. Starting from humble beginnings twin sisters Coco and Breezy grew up best friends in the suburbs Apple Valley , Minnesota. Their work ethic and fashion ambition started as teens – juggling school commitments, working three jobs whilst still managing to find the time to create artistic projects for themselves, including their highly sought after sunglasses. The twins’ bold style and original taste in fashion was initially misunderstood in the community, leading them to develop unique signature studded eyewear as both shields from onlookers and statement pieces, and the pair have been projecting cool and confidence ever since. With full support of their family Coco & Breezy continued to work on their designs with the dream of making it on their own as an innovative boutique fashion brand. Whilst on a trip to NYC in 2009 as 18-year-old fashion outsiders, Coco and Breezy and their eclectic eyewear were an instant hit – the fashion world beckoned as people continued to ask where they can purchase their custom eyewear. Their style success story started to take off. After a rush of ambition Coco and Breezy took to New York, without a place to live or any money saved they hit the fashion circuit in a big way. Within one week Coco and Breezy’s eyewear had been seen on Kelly Osborne on both Good Morning America and Dancing with the Stars, and Ashanti accessorizing her edgy look at the Hip Hop Honors. This was the official start of the branding and launch of an exceptional accessory label. Since the official launch Coco & Breezy have been featured in numerous publications such as Teen Vogue, WWD, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Nylon, New York Magazine, InStyle, Paper, Essence, GQ, Timeout, Grazia, Biba, Idol, Dazed, ID, and more. They have developed their business and product by working on diverse creative projects such as eyewear collaborations with Selima Salaun and Adidas, a Copy and Paste Clothier collaboration designing a limited edition varsity jacket, and a ski helmet collaboration with Allen Vaurnet in Courchevel, France. Along with their collaborative work they worked with Renault, becoming the faces for a large advertising campaign. Each collection under the Coco and Breezy eyewear range has its own story. “20/20” collection – living in the year twenty twenty and having 20/20 vision, “Rainy Days” based on the concept of an umbrella, the literally translated collection “Wearable Art”, and “Omorose” meaning ‘beautiful’ in Egyptian.
