Mexican-born from French parents, Dafné has been raised and studied International business in Paris. She first began her namesake jewelry line in 2010 after a career working 7 years for the high-end brand YSL in Miami. Dafné's line started with the idea of creating elegant and edgy functional jewelry that could be easily put on and removed, which inspired the use of a strong magnetic clasp on all her creations. True mix between precious & edgy jewel, dafne's pieces combine lightness and refinement with each wrap bracelet easily convertible into necklace. The collections combine the modern shapes of the wire work with light weight chains or noble soft materials such as deerskin, fabric or qualitative and colorful strings. Manufactured in Miami by qualified artisans, each bangle is made of precious metal 14 karat gold filled (composed of a solid layer of 14kt gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass) or 925 Sterling Silver. The shape is first drowned by hand and then manually hammered, forged and stamped with the brand logo to certify the authenticity of each piece. Either classic or trendy, dafne’s pieces are also the expression of symbolic with her successful Zirconia charms collections that she recently incorporated in a modern way, with semi-precious stones, strings, chains and raw materials. She finds most of her inspiration in colors, material combinations, textures with sometimes a delicate touch of sparkle and last but not least into functionality and confort in each piece. Since it's inception, Dafné jewelry has received the Tiffany Jewelry Award (March '11) and her pieces have been featured in Glamour magazine and on Refinery29. They are now distributed internationally by renown retailers and key jewelry online stores.
