Famously known for her beautiful timeless pieces, Jamie Rubin is a true phenomenon and is recognised as one of London's most talented names in jewellery design. With her ability to translate vision and passion into stunning, enchanting and sought after designs, she is indeed a rare talent. In February 2004, after a decade of designing bespoke pieces for personal clients, Jamie graced us with the launch of her very first unique jewellery collection. As expected, Jamie's collection was a success, and was immediately snapped up by the most prestigious stores and fashion boutique in the UK and Europe, including Harvey Nichols, Liberty and Brown Thomas. As well as receiving a countless amount of press and reviews, Jamie moved on to showcasing at London Fashion Week. Born in New York, Jamie was seven when she discovered the world of beads at an Italian market. Her passion for beads and pretty natural objects came alive whilst Beachcombing on family holidays, searching for fragments of sea glass, shells, stones and driftwood, transforming them into works of art. Since graduating from Art School in Arizona, her worldwide travel has led her to build up a vast collection of beads and semi-precious stones, in endless varieties from across five continents. As a working mother, Jamie continues to be inspired by her love of rich colour, the subtle textures and themes from within nature and most of all, beautiful beads, both old and new, from around the world.
