Jana Reinhardt was born in East Germany. She is a classically trained Master Goldsmith and holds a degree in jewellery design and manufacture. In 2006 Jana had just given up a lucrative job as a goldsmith at a high end Hatton Garden jewellers. She had decided to go freelance and had rented a tiny studio space in nearby artist’s studios. Ross, her then husband, now husband and business partner was drafted in to build work benches and help set up shop. “The room was in an old factory where they had made cockpits for spitfires during the Second World War. It was pretty basic and space was at a premium as the room was shared with three other designers. It was a real melting pot of creativity.” From those early foundations, Jana Reinhardt Jewellery has grown into the brand that it is today. A brand that is synonymous with quality and unique design and has followers all over the world. Jana now works together with her husband and business partner Ross Cutting, also a trained goldsmith and design graduate. They share their time between their London office and their workshop by the sea in Worthing, West Sussex where they continue to design and produce exquisite jewellery.
