Jane Taylor launched her first range of bespoke hats back in 2008, selling only to a selection of private clients. With her designs being paraded around Ascot and Henley Royal Regatta, it wasn’t long before word spread and Jane Taylor’s designs were in high-demand every season. Fast-forward five years, and Jane Taylor has established herself as a go-to-milliner to the Royals, and with an ever-increasing list of private clients, her work can often be found gracing the pages of Vogue, Tatler and Sunday Times Style. With three new collections every season; Bridal, Ready-To-Wear and Bespoke, there’s something for everyone. The Bridal collection entails intricate crystal headpieces and lace vintage veils. Ready-To-Wear offers a vast selection of pillboxes, fedoras and wide brimmed hats; perfect for the summer wedding and racing seasons. The current bespoke range is fabulous and outrageous, and includes a selection of one off show pieces created for some of the UK’s leading Style publications. The bespoke service includes a made to dye option, where fabrics and colours can be matched and dyed to your exact requirements. Each piece holds a truly unique and contemporary feel, as Taylor takes inspiration from taxidermy, antique prints and couture designs. It would be hard to ignore Jane’s meteoric rise to success in the world of millinery, as her Royal clientele includes The Duchess of Cambridge, Zara Phillips, The Countess of Wessex, Princess Eugenie and HRH Mary of Denmark. However it’s not only the Royal Family that appear to have taken notice, as Jane Taylor’s current stockists include Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Fenwicks, Fortnum and Mason and a new diffusion line ‘Taylor’ at House of Fraser. Celebrating five years as Jane Taylor Millinery Ltd. this year, the brand is looking forward to expanding internationally and increasing its global audience.
