Kris Van Assche was born in Belgium in 1976. Graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, he moved to Paris in 1998. Having worked at Yves Saint Laurent and Dior Homme, he launched his own line , KRISVANASSCHE in January 2005. Since April 2007, he is also the artistic director of Dior Homme. About KRISVANASSCHE Over the seasons, Kris Van Assche printed his highly personal vision of the masculine world, redefining and decompartmentalising codes, and establishing himself as one of the major Parisian designers. Reflections of a cross inspiration, the collections consist KRISVANASSCHE contemporary cloakroom merging classical rigor to the roughness workwear and technical sportswear. Relaxed, elegance is expressed in KRISVANASSCHE through essential clothing, adapting to multiple lives of those who wear them. Regular collaborations, in particular with Eastpak and Lee, contributed to extend the field of expression and reputation KRISVANASSCHE of the general public. In June 2013, KRISVANASSCHE opens its first boutique in Paris. The space of 80 square meters located 16 rue Saint Roch in the 1st arrondissement offers on two floors line of ready-to-wear as well as accessories and footwear collections.
