Nila Prawirawidjaja, owner and designer of Jesslyn Blake and Nila Anthony handbags, has had a keen eye for fashion since she was young. She was raised in a small town in Bandung, Indonesia, also known as "Paris Van Java" which of all the great European accessories and clothing that she dream of creating. In addition, her relationship with her small town's natural environment is an important part of the life, which was a driving force for her to create a line that is gentle to our natural resources while offering fashion forward ready-to-wear bags. Nila's particular interest in accessories, especially for handbags, later inspired her career choice to hone her marketing and manufacturing skills at the American Intercontinental University. After she completed her education with concentration in graphic design, Nila set out start her own brand in Los Angeles with her father, a tailored enterpreneur and businessman. She began her first production hit in 2005: A recycled leather- patched bag known as the Harlow under the brand name De-De, now known as Jesslyn Blake. To counterpart the chic Bohemian style of Jesslyn Blake's leather and canvas bags, Nila then began designing a non leather line that met the industry's fast-paced demands for trend-setting bags.
