During a placement at Balmain, Roberta learnt to have fun with design, turning her until-then minimal aesthetic on its head. Adopting traditional couture techniques realised in a vibrant and modern way, Roberta found her signature maximalist embellishments and illustrative, tonal embroideries. Catching the attention of Premiere Classe’s WHOS NEXT, on graduation Roberta was selected as one of 12 graduates to showcase in Paris. She has regularly features in the likes of Dazed, i-D, Hunger magazine and American Vogue.
