It seems not, as LA-based brand AGOLDE is now experimenting with a skewed zip fly on the aptly named Criss Cross shorts, tilting the high-rise waist as a result. Skimming straight through the leg and stopping mid-thigh with contrast stitching, whiskering, and distressed hems, this faded pair puts an attitude-laden stamp on the remixed denim trend.
Los Angeles-based AGOLDE defines itself as a fashion-forward denim label, experimental in both approach and design. Part of the same family as Citizens of Humanity and GOLDSIGN, the AGOLDE design collective focuses on sustainability and comfort, to create jeans that are modern interpretations of classic styles.
