Wool-Blend Heart Sweater

Creative director Pieter Mulier's Autumn/Winter 2024 collection for Alaïa enters an experimental territory with a plethora of innovative shapes. Take this sweater, for example: a piece thoughtfully moulded into the outline of a heart with its V-neckline, cinched waist and circular shoulders.

The legendary Paris fashion house was founded in the sixties and by the 1980s, Tunisian sculptor and couturier, Azzedine Alaïa’s powerful, feminine silhouettes were revered worldwide. Today, his legacy prevails in dresses and ready to wear, shoes and bags, including the cult La Coeur heart bag.
