Alighieri's 24kt gold-plated sterling-silver Aries ring is crafted using a time-consuming lost-wax casting technique – where the product's molten metal is poured into a handmade wax mould – for sculpted and imperfect appeal. It's handmade in Hatton Garden, London with a textured band and a debossed ram symbol that reflects the zodiac sign's traits of honesty, courage and generosity.
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
