Named after the acclaimed Italian poet, writer and philosopher, Alighieri is a London-based jewellery brand with a penchant for classic literature. Treasured for its storied designs – all of which are inspired by Dante’s historical masterpieces – the jeweller casts each piece in its Hatton Garden workshop, using everything from coruscating gold to bronze to create pendants, bracelets and rings with rich, earthy tones.
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
