Anaak’s white Adrian shorts are cut to a fluid drape evocative of the label’s airy aesthetic. They’re crafted from softly crinkled cotton muslin with a comfortable high-rise elasticated waist framed by slip pockets and feature side hem slits to enhance the relaxed feel.
Artist and textile designer Marissa Maximo works with small artisanal communities, especially disadvantaged women, to create her breezy, free-spirited dresses and separates in an environmentally-conscious way, using natural fibres like cotton (organic where possible) voile, muslin and silk, and non-toxic vegetable dyes.
