Spending her childhood on the Uruguayan coast in Punta del Este, it’s no surprise that Casa Raki’s founder and Creative Director Josefina A. Theo has the ocean’s best interests in mind when designing her swimwear. The Lola bikini bottoms are sustainably whipped up in recycled nylon and shaped to a classic high-rise, high-leg silhouette. There’s only one thing left to do: shimmy on down to the shore.
Casa Raki uses certified organic and recycled materials to create swimwear and airy separates, inspired by founder Josefina Alazraki’s childhood in Uruguay, and produced in a women-run factory in Portugal. Classic, minimal designs ensure a timelessness to each piece, in keeping with the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
As the sustainable fashion movement gathers pace, we’re shining a light on the individual pieces with eco credentials, whether that’s lower-impact natural fabrics like linen, lyocell and organic cotton, recycled fibres, or more planet-friendly manufacturing techniques. If it’s greener, it’s here.
