If you’ve had a suspicion that Erdem Moralıoğlu should’ve been born in a different era, his SS22 collection at his eponymous label was proof. Inspired by two English eccentrics, Edith Sitwell and Ottoline Morrell, and the latter’s penchant for Edwardian fashion, he whipped up the Decca dress. It’s shaped to a shin-skimming boat-neck silhouette that’s cinched at the waist with a bow and swathed in a sheath of sparkling sequins.
London based designer Erdem Moralioglu’s philosophy is to focus on the silhouette, proportions and timeless styling. His pieces feature in the publications like Grazia and Elle.
