TENCEL™ lyocell is made from plant cellulose and while chemicals are used in its production, it is a closed-loop process, meaning that chemicals can be extracted and waste water reused. Refibra™ technology involves upcycling cotton scraps from garment production and transforming them into cotton pulp. This is added to wood pulp and the combined material transformed to produce TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres.'
