Alessandro Michele’s affinity for 1970s silhouettes stems from his youth – it being the era he grew up in – and Gucci's black Marvin pumps reflect this nostalgia, seen on the AW20 runway. They’re crafted from glossy patent leather with a V-cut front and cutout panels fastening with a slender ankle strap and set on a mid-block heel and platform sole.
