Christophe Lemaire’s eponymous label was founded in 1992 and this khaki-brown overshirt is an example of the label’s enduring minimalist ethos. It’s crafted from cotton Ventile® – a material comprised of extra-long staples to provide enhanced durability – then finished to an elongated profile with a stand collar, patch pocket and side-split hem. Wear it with monochromatic separates to channel a nomadic mood.

The Lemaire wardrobe is designed to be modular, with supple silhouettes and a soft colour palette allowing outfits to be restyled and accented over time. Collections are produced in Europe, Turkey and Morocco. Bags and leather goods are made in Spain and Italy, where a collaborative effort with artisans has brought novel approaches to age-old techniques.
