The draped silhouette and graphic white topstitching featured on this black cotton-twill midi dress nods to Proenza Schouler’s subversive aesthetic, first revealed on the SS19 runway. It’s crafted in Italy with a ruffled top and peeping cut-out bodice, then shaped with a fluted skirt that is slit open at the sides for added movement. Echo the show styling with a pair with black leather boots.
Proenza Schouler was founded in New York by designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. Their work is inspired by contemporary art and youth culture and is combined with an emphasis on tailoring and the use of custom developed fabrics.
