Playful prints glide onto the scene yet again for Reformation’s latest collection, with polka dots emerging on the LA label’s Brandy mini skirt. Sustainably crafted from a woven fabric made with wood pulp viscose, it’s a light, breezy style that’s just as well suited to California’s sandy shores as a desert road trip with friends. Make sure you’re taking the bus, though, because car rides are bad for the planet (and this label is a friend of Mother Earth).
Long before it became fashionable, Reformation made sustainability cool, with limited collections of dresses, ethically-made in LA with ‘deadstock’ material. They’re still leading change, promising to be climate positive by 2025.
As the sustainable fashion movement gathers pace, we’re shining a light on the individual pieces with eco credentials, whether that’s lower-impact natural fabrics like linen, lyocell and organic cotton, recycled fibres, or more planet-friendly manufacturing techniques. If it’s greener, it’s here.
