If there’s one thing Reformation knows about, it’s how to dress for balmy days in its native Los Angeles without costing the earth. Enter: the Olsen set. Primed to take you from shopping on Melrose to sunset at the Griffith Observatory and then to dinner in West Hollywood, it’s cut from cooling linen with a square-neck cropped top and a thigh-skimming skirt. The best bit? Linen is a much more environmentally friendly alternative to cotton.
Long before it became fashionable, Reformation made sustainability cool, with limited collections of dresses, ethically-made in LA with ‘deadstock’ material. They’re still leading change, promising to be climate positive by 2025.
As the sustainable fashion movement gathers pace, we’re shining a light on the individual pieces with eco credentials, whether that’s lower-impact natural fabrics like linen, lyocell and organic cotton, recycled fibres, or more planet-friendly manufacturing techniques. If it’s greener, it’s here.
